Marshmallow Leaf Cut (Althaea officinalis)

Marshmallow root is a soothing demulcent herb with excellent mucilaginous properties:

• Digestive Soothing: Forms a protective layer to ease occasional stomach and intestinal discomfort.

Precautions

• May slow absorption of other medications - administer separately by at least 2 hours.
• Use cautiously in diabetic animals as it may affect blood sugar levels.
• Ensure adequate water intake as the mucilage absorbs fluids.
• Discontinue use if diarrhoea occurs.
• Not recommended for animals with intestinal blockages or severe constipation.
